Your Personalised Aesthetics Consultation

What a clinical consultation looks like

Your appointment begins with a full medical history and a detailed facial assessment. Nurse Lisa examines the skin in front of her — structure, movement, tone, texture — and talks through what she is observing in clear, practical language.

Some patientss arrive with specific questions they have been sitting with for a while. Others are at the very beginning — curious about what they are seeing in the mirror and wanting a clinical eye on it before forming any view. Both are welcome, and both are met with the same thoroughness.

The Aesthetics Consultation takes place in a private space at the Gordon Park clinic. It is a calm, professional setting designed for a real conversation.

What patients bring to the Consultation
  • An honest clinical read on what they are seeing — before anything else.
  • Questions about whether a concern is structural, muscular or skin-related.
  • Early conversations about skin health and the face over time.
  • Clarity on what is driving a concern they have been noticing.
  • Multiple concerns explored in a single considered appointment.
  • A second clinical opinion after an experience elsewhere.
  • Skin health as a whole, not a single isolated concern.
  • Questions they have not felt able to ask anywhere else.
Every Aesthetics Consultation is shaped around the individual — the face in front of Nurse Lisa, the medical history behind it, and the questions the patient brings with them.
Nurse Lisa
"The most valuable thing I can offer in an Aesthetics Consultation is an honest read on what I am seeing — even when it is not what someone was hoping to hear."

Why you may not see every service listed

At The Glow Co. Aesthetics, transparency is part of our care. Australian advertising regulations, set by AHPRA and the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), limit how some treatments can be presented online. Our approach reflects a commitment to practising safely, ethically, and within the standards set for registered health practitioners.

That’s why every skin journey begins with a personalised consultation, allowing your concerns, suitability, and goals to be properly assessed before any recommendations are made.

To discuss your concerns and understand what is appropriate for you, book a personalised Aesthetics Consultation with Nurse Lisa.

Common Questions

Frequently asked

Do I need a consultation first?+
Yes. A consultation with Nurse Lisa is the starting point for anyone considering cosmetic care at The Glow Co. It is a private conversation about your concerns, your medical history, and the clinical picture — separate from any later appointment.
Which consultation pathway should I choose?+
If your concern falls clearly within one category — Lines & Expression, Volume & Contour, or Firmness & Texture — book that pathway. If you have multiple concerns, or you are unsure where to start, a general cosmetic consultation is a sensible place to begin. Nurse Lisa can redirect the conversation during the appointment if the clinical picture calls for it.
What happens at a consultation?+
A full medical history, a thorough facial assessment, and a careful discussion of your concerns in plain language. Nurse Lisa will explain what she is seeing clinically and answer the questions you arrive with.
How is cosmetic care regulated in Queensland?+
Cosmetic care in Queensland is regulated by AHPRA's advertising and practice guidelines for non-surgical cosmetic procedures (effective 2 September 2025), the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989, and Queensland Health under the Medicines and Poisons Act 2019. At The Glow Co., every patient has an in-person consultation with Registered Nurse Lisa before any clinical decision is made, in accordance with these frameworks.
Is a consultation a commitment to anything else?+
No. The consultation is the appointment. It is a discrete clinical encounter — information, assessment, conversation. Whatever you do with that information afterwards is entirely separate and entirely yours.
Is Nurse Lisa AHPRA registered?+
Yes. Nurse Lisa holds full AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 (NMW0001471748) with over 18 years of clinical nursing experience and specialised training in aesthetic medicine.
